Insane pressing! A little on the quieter side, but the wax itself is dead silent and sounds wonderfully dynamic. No sibilance distortion, fat bass reproduction, just perfect. No doubt one of the best sounding records in my collection, they killed this! -
Sounds is flawless - super deep bass and silent vinyl. Giving 4 stars only because they cheaped out on the packaging and put both LPs into one cover instead of doing a gatefold.

Edited 7 months agoWhats up with these horrible printed inner sleeves? Leaving paper residue/pieces all over the records. Shame on an otherwise excellent pressing/product.

Edited 11 months agoSeems to be in print again.. or still? Dont know, but my copy is absolutely stunning. No issues at all and sound quality is brilliant! Happy to finally have this in my collection.. 44 bucks.. i could not resist! :-) -

Among the many gems dropped for Roots fans by ?uestlove during the wonderful fourth series of Open Mike Eagle's What Had Happened Was podcast was news (to me anyway) that it wasn't just five different covers for the original CD release, but each of those different covers had a different hidden track. None of the listings here include any indication of this, and I've only ever had a copy of the "riot" cover so can't check. Is there anyone out there who has some or all of the different editions and can post some info about the tracks on the other versions, please? -
Description completely matches, okayplayer logo on the front but I’m not seeing a 2013 on mine, just 98 & 99. Also a faint stamp on the shrink that reads “Made in Canada” 04041352 3. Anyone have any leads on which version mine is? -

Listen to The Return To Innocence Lost and not be affected. A horrific glimpse into somebody's reality. All too common.
This The Roots at their finest. 5 Stars -
MOV talks for it self. Rich and warm sound. Exactly the thing this album deserves!
