Nice reissue and for the price it sounds great. The dust jacket is cool but paper so you have to get some plastic sleeves. The vinyl lays flat, seems quiet, and mastering/mix is good when turned up.
It's actually pretty funny that "London Boys" features Steve Jones on guitar and Paul Cook on drums. I mean the song is totally making fun of the Sex Pistols, right? As much as I do like this LP I can't help but think as amazing as Johnny Thunders was, he kinda hit his peak with The Heartbreakers. What a great band. It's cool hearing him do a few older songs from his repertoire with some fun guest stars like Paul Cook, Steve Jones, Phil Lynott, Chrissie Hynde, and some other original punks. You like Johnny? Then you need this. -

I also have a different Runout Matrix / Runout. Side A: RAYS W-1 RAL 1 A EG 1. Side B: RAYS W-1 RAL 1 B EG 1. Pretty sure its a first press as I have had it since 78 or 79. -

My vinyl has a different runoff groove info--Matrix / Runout (Side A runout, variant on side 1): RAYS S-17 RAL1 A EG 1 for side 1.
And Matrix / Runout (Side A runout, variant 10): RAYS S-19 RAL 1 A 1 EG for side 2.
This LP was mastered quite loud, like a lot of vinyl from that period. -

Bought a copy of this reissue in Europe, it was less than 20 euros! My vinyl is flawless (no noise - a surprise for a cheaper colored vinyl), and the sound is really good. As others stated below, it needs some volume, but its not digital. It sounds as it need to sound. Crank it. -

As for the press mine is flat and very clean, nice translucent red vinyl, the sound is good i guess, Ive never heard an original, seems like the original sessions are a bit lo fi and or underproduced but I agree it sounds good cranked up, it doesnt sound digital and no clipping or fatigue so there u have it … sounds okay 😀 pressed at Memphis Record , MRP in dead wax -

Just opened and cleaned mine on a medium clean in the Degritter, first song played well and then started skipping at the intro of track A2. Anyone else? AND.......paper inner sleeve again!!! :(
