Awesome sound quality and pressing came clean! IMO, B&N exclusives always sound really good. The signed autograph print is cool too! It’s actually handwritten by all the of the band and not some cheap print of their signatures.
I will be honest, all the album cover variants are not creative at all. If you’re wanting a variant for this album, get the B&N version. I got mine on sale too! -

I’m not so struck on this I’m afraid. I’m quite disappointed. It lacks their usual edginess, it’s a bit bland for me. It’s a bit beige. No stand out tracks, nothing grabbing me at all. -

I got this album on Amazon for $8 and it sounds fantastic. It's tad warped, but that hasn't affected the sound at all.

The vinyl I have has the same matrix runout but the front cover doesn’t look like the one shown on this listing. I bought mine used at a local record store so not sure where it was originally purchased.

Edited one year agoThis is the best Matchbox album easily. Those complaining are not fans in the first place or have remained stuck mentally in the past. This is a fantastic album, period. This takes nothing away from previous great albums they have made.

Edited one year agoI bought this version (with the sticker) at the official merch booth at the concert so it is not exclusive to Amazon.

Great album, Rob Thomas’s voice sounds amazing. A bit different from their older albums while stilling have that Matchbox Twenty feel to it.

Fresh out of the packaging I have a few notes:
Album Cover and insert is clean and beautiful.
The album itself is fantastic music. It's exactly what I want from Marchbox 20. Somber moods with light beats and story based songs.
The record itself, fresh out of the packaging, was dirtier than average. More concerning, it had over 3 surface marks across the grooves. Fortunately they did not affect play.
The mastering itself is a bit muddy, and I have a feeling it isn't doing this album full justice. However, it is still a joy to listen to. I look forward to cleaning the record a few times to see if I can get more detail out of it. -
My Target version had a very noticeable scratch across track A1 and several tracks with a lot of pops and noise even after cleaning. Returning and hoping for better result from a different source.
