Saxon – Carpe Diem

My black vinyl copy is NOT warped, has NO surface noise and sounds great

Why are there two entries for the EMP green vinyl? We don't need this entry too.

I bought the RED LP at a Saxon gig and was signed by the band.
There is NO writing in the matrix and no barcode over sticker on the reverse

this is a decent brazil pressed silver factory cd for the market in brazil, the booklet is the same as the digi pack regular edition that was released back in february, the only thing different here is the record company text & this is a jewel case edition not a digi pack.. i must say between 7 different vinyl editions in color variation & 3 different cd versions of this 2022 saxon album ( eu digi pack, japan edition w/ bonus live track & this one jewel case) they really went all out with this release of CARPE DIEM..............as i always say its a killer saxon album so i guess why not??

this is like the 7th lp version i have of this so i have ALL VERSIONS/COLORS of this great 2022 saxon record!!!!!, this one seems to be the one not popping up much, the few other colors that where done i was told in numbers only 100 to 300 where pressed so i cant say i know for sure how many of the various colors where pressed, anyway this lp was released for the scandanvian market ( except finland) and is a nice high quality great sounding lp that is RED WITH A SLIGHT BLACK SWIRL THROUGH IT...... so yes that does make THIS VERSION UNIQUE from the pure 100% RED vinyl
version...... again this is a great record, saxon still have it after almost 45 years.......

sadly the hole where you insert the record on the turntable on my copy is too tight that i was removing the record from the turntable, it badly warped the record. great album though

this is a beautiful GREEN color vinyl edition of carpe diem, i believe this was for the german market but i could be wrong. anyway very nice sounding deep light green vinly lp.............

i got this nice japan edition of the most current saxon disc CARPE DIEM from japan a month or so ago, this is on the great rubicon label who have done some fantastic NWOBHM reissues over the years ( they did a beautiful TANK) box set a few years back, anyway this comes with a nice obi as you can see, its a jewel case edition as you can see and has the standard japan booklet and i feel the bonus track of killing ground from 2016 live is good but for the japan only bonus track i feel saxon could have hit the vaults and given us a better live track, anyway great sounding japan only disc, this is LIMITED....

I’m amazed how these 80’s NWBHM are still putting out great releases. I’ve seen them live couple times over last couple tours and despite looking older they still put on an entertaining live rock show.
I dig the theme running through this LP and songs like Pilgrimage stand up in their catalog. Rock on

Listening to our black vinyl pressing of Carpe Diem. Has made in Italy on back cover. Record has a small warp but vinyl is very quiet. Sound quality is great. Doesn't sound compressed compared to a lot of new release albums. The album did have a noticeable amount of lint when opened and had to be cleaned. Overall, I'm happy to add it to my collection
