Not sure if it’s time for a proper remastering or it just needed a double LP, but this has no depth/dynamics. Especially unpleasant when attempting to crank it, like a low bitrate mp3 or something.
My new copy also had two separate scribbly lines that caused a fair bit of clicking at the end of track 1 into track 2 on side 2.
And yeah missing the full tracklisting is another lame move.

Vital to have the limited edition to get all the tracks from the CD - though, interestingly, 2 copies are required if one wishes to mix and listen in CD order (since for some reason C1 and C2 are reversed, as are D3 and D2). Somewhat annoying as they almost got this right, vs almost every double vinyl that simply puts the tracks in order sides A thru D (obviously for people flipping the record not mixing where A/C and B/D should be the sides...).
Needless to say this is a minor gripe and should not stop anyone seeking out this gem! -

I have always felt like this album is the spiritual twin to Hypocrisy Is The Greatest Luxury. Both feature similar themes (and I presume Mark Pistel lurking on each) and while I really ire both, Satyricon is a little more oblique and takes the win for me. I am not sure why it didn't get a vinyl release, I would to see one! -

This record doesn't sound good and it's missing some great tracks. Disappointed. -

Great to have a brand new copy of this, but it really should have been the whole album like the double vinyl ltd edition from it's original release https://discogs.descargarpelis.net/release/209512-Meat-Beat-Manifesto-Satyricon. There's over 20 minutes of music from the album missing from this release. That being said, the record sounds great on my system. Very glad to have a fresh copy to play. -

There appears to be a 2024 reissue on the way: https://www.amazon.com/Satyricon-Meat-Beat-Manifesto/dp/B0CDQMKSVP/ref=sr_1_1?crid=WL7ZH2W1686H&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.Oifgajd9Z_8BEk4esbpcsmCa0YmhIgnGd61WPoFb9IvGjHj071QN20LucGBJIEps.kEPbLQliv_qix4H65P0j-FWh6NVFFJi_rxuV3lPWq3c&dib_tag=se&keywords=meat+beat+manifesto+satyricon+vinyl&qid=1718239198&sprefix=meat+beat+manifesto+satyricon+vinyl%2Caps%2C198&sr=8-1

So many incredible albums that came out in 1992 but this one was a perfect amalgamation of Techno, Hip Hop, Shoegaze, Industrial and Dub as well as quite the sample masterpiece. It also showcased the incredible range of Jack Dangers vocal capabilities that had evolved over his career. The back bone of social consciousness themes on this album cannot be understated as society is still struggles to make progress. This is one of those albums I can listen to over and over again. It is a real shame that the vinyl LP is not more widely available. Would love to see a multidisc remaster with all the incredible remixes. -

Wishing we would get a 30th anniversary vinyl reissue of this in 2022 but I would assume the sample clearance is an issue—otherwise it would have been reissued by now. Such an amazing record that more people should hear.

I really, really wish Jack Dangers would remaster this album. It deserves to be heard with the same volume and fidelity that every release that followed it has.
