Superb quality of the vinyl.
Even after 62 years my copy doesn’t have any surface noise except between tracks.

Perfect collection of slinky early 60s rock instrumental Shadows’ singles w/ Hank Marvin in fine form playing his trademark ringing Fender Strat who inspired millions to buy electric guitars & was a huge influence on surf rock & electric guitar music in general. Extremely well engineered for the time with a punchy mono sound ranging from jumpy rock to sexy sways to pure pop to secret agent-style coolness.
Drop the needle on this.

Is this a Mono or Stereo copy. I've got the same album but is states clearly Mono on the label. Sadly only have inner sleeve.

This mono first pressing is as good as 60s record mastering gets. Brilliant clarity, depth and each guitar perfectly mixed in the mono soundscape.

Only missing foot tapper that i thought would have been included rather than the quartermasters stores
Probably could have included Atlantis and place in the sun also and missed the duplicated stereo mono efforts but this CD is digitally remastered anyhow best pick up the original one released in 1989

My Version looks identical but the Matrix Runout Says: "XAX.2465- 1N" and "XAX.2466 -2N" Any suggestions?

There are two versions of this, one in a cardboard box and the other in a plastic case.

One one complaint. No 'Atlantis' but otherwise a fantastic collection.
