Edited 3 years agoThe Xen Mantra Dub was always better than the Xen Mantra Remix. On the surface one would wonder why they would make both a Remix *and* Dub at all, considering it isn't the kind of record that really needed a "Dub" since it was pretty much instrumental to begin with. Would have made more sense to just call them "Remix 1" and "Remix 2" IMHO.
Anyways, back to the Dub...it's got all of the same elements of the Remix, but totally resequenced in way that "flowed" better for more effective dance floor impact. It just felt less cheesy for some reason, and aged a bit better as a result. It also had way better mix points for DJ's I might add. -
