Excellent synthesizer-heavy prog rock album. Beautiful synthesizer work on this instrumental album. Not sure if just my setup or copy but the drums are mixed a little too quiet in my opinion. Would hit a lot harder with harder drums. Still great album and well worth the pickup. -

This record could well be filed in the Tangerine Dream-clones department, if it had not been for the title track "Colossus" which is a fabulous and very original composition by anyone’s standard. I have never heard anything quite like it, it is a wonderful amalgam of synth pop, new wave, kraut rock, and prog rock all rolled into one beautiful up tempo tune, the saxophone playing is out this world, and the groove is close to inventing electro.
