It was way back in 1988. This was one of the first CDs I bought, being very delighted to find the full 8:37 version of "Love machine" on it (please note it was pretty rare to find 70s extended disco mixes on CD at that time).
Needless to say, a whole sound scape opened up when playing this CD. There is a whole lot more to explore here than just "Love machine". "Reality" is a prototype example of ambient pop / chilltronica, and the title track combines disco with meaningful lyrics beyond the usual dancing and loving stuff. An album that is still highly enjoyable to listen to and which sounds today as fresh as it was originally recorded more than 30 years ago.
