Lookout Norway, this is some top notch black metal at its finest and are all to be heard. Atmospheric black metal band formed in 2003 in Olympia, Washington. The main are brothers Aaron and Nathan Weaver. -

Definitely not up to the same standard as older pressings on Southern Lord. Definitely a down hill trajectory in of quality here.
Lots of surface noise - the cardboard used for for the cover is low quality and not thick. All in all, just not the standard I'm used to for Wolves in the throne room albums.
You are better off going for an older reissue. -
My copy has slight warps on both LPs, but not enough to affect sound quality. -

Fantastic pressing. Sounds as good as this album possibly can. Its not the best recording to begin with so you can't expect miracles. There's plenty of air and depth in the mix and the dynamics are great. Packaging is nice also. I like all of their stuff but this album is top 3 for me. -

Band copies of this pressing were sold with autographed lyrics sheets. -
These pressings sound just as good if not better than the copy I bought at Waterloo records in Austin, TX the week it came out. I pulled my first pressing out of the vault and gave it a spin back to back with this repress and I have to tell you that Southern Lord has got it right unlike a lot of crap repressed these days. -
I don't feel they've even close to bettered this, which is more a comment as to the esteem in which I hold it. Fact they've tried to recreate it twice since now certainly contributes toward the band feeling similar. I think the reissue of Diadem of 12 Stars was magnificent also in 2014. Special band.
They were meant to play in Belfast and would be my first time seeing them live and apparently the promoter ripped them off so they couldn't play. Even worse as the band themselves apparently turned up. Hopefully I will see them someday. -
poor pressing, LP2 of my copy has a pit which impacts side C severely
