Ahhh memories of my Toyota full of speakers and this disc. Hits like a mother!! Great variety of bass and clever rhymes. Doesn't take itself too seriously and I like that. It's no wonder the disc is so valued even now. -

One of my favorite albums of 1992. The production stands up as top tier for the day, I especially like the bar-kays sample in penitentiary blues. 1-900-dial-a-crook is solid for big mike and 3-2s parts, but falls a bit flat with the geto boys parts. Peter man was a strong track at the time but hasn't really aged as well as some of the others on the album.
Big mike is the stronger rapper of the two and his parts mix some clever rhymes and story telling. 3-2 has his moments but in general his raps are forgettable. That said there is some songs that were controversial at the time and just plain wouldn't fly today. Illegal aliens takes a very republican view of the problem of illegal immigration.
In general this is a good album that remains underrated to this day.
