This is a must-have EP from the earlier days of Telefon Tel Aviv. 2 original tracks and 2 remixes. The song "8 track project cut" alone is worth the price of ission. -
Edited 8 years agoMy most coveted track by Telefon Tel Aviv. This song puts me in instant happiness no matter what. The production value and the perfect use of her vocals perpetuates the emotional roller coaster that is "Sound in a Dark Room"
PS. My copy is 146. -

I am a big Telefon Tel Aviv fan and for me this is their best record. Lindsay Anderson's vocals are beautiful. I was lucky enough to see her perform with them in 2002 in Detroit and they covered a couple Alliyah tracks as a homage to the city. Amazing memories -

Extremely strong EP, agreed with breakbeatoracle... record was behind its time. -

This EP was ahead of it's time when released. A Prefuse 73 & Slicker remix on the now defunct hefty. -

telefon tel aviv's brilliant style of downbeat IDM continues what was started by their first release, Fahrenheit Fair Enough, into this EP. While only about 20 minutes long, all four songs are wonderfully woven together to make a short & sweet record
