Really cool label if you like pretentious catalog numbers and innersleeves that eats the vinyl. Thirty Helens agree.

Edited 2 years agoThere are vinyl represses of some Eliane Radigue recordings coming on Alga Marghen. Soundohm describes (inter alia) Opus 17 as "Remastered, improved sound quality." I wonder whether this is meant as a reference to the Remaster or whether Alga Marghen (I have three records pressed by them and every single one is marred by clicks and pops – even after professionally cleaning the discs) have finally made up their minds and changed the pressing plant… I am sceptical. But maybe some of you could share their experiences with the October/November 2022 releases?

This label is horrendous. The pressing quality of their otherwise interesting re-issues catalogue is dismal. Stick to digital format. Avoid.
