Théo Sarapo

French actor and singer of Greek origin born on January 26, 1936 in Paris, he was known professionally as Théo Sarapo. Second husband of Edith Piaf, he recorded the hit "A Quoi Ca Sert L'Amour" with her in 1962. He died in a car accident on August 28, 1970 in Limoges, . His stage name "Sarapo", pronounced in French, resembles the Greek "Je t'aime" and was chosen for him by Piaf.
