James "Val" Valentini

American singer/songwriter and assistant engineer. Known as "Val" as a member of Nashville singer/songwriter duo Frank Saulino ("Birdie").

Originally from Ohio. Moved to Nashville in 1977 and began music career singing and writing songs with Warner Bros. Records. Retired from the music business in 1996 and moved back to Youngstown, Ohio.

Born November 28, 1950; died October 22, 2020, age 69, in Boardman, Ohio.

May be credited as James Valentini, Jim Valentini or Val on releases.
